Is shopping online at TheToolStore.ca safe?

How can I tell if a page is secure?

There are two ways to confirm a secure page:

  1. URL – Secure pages begin with https:// instead of http://.

  2. Lock icon – Most web browsers show a padlock icon in the address bar on secure pages.

We use secure pages wherever personal or payment information is collected.

How will I know if an item I ordered is out of stock?

If an item is on backorder or unavailable, our team will contact you as soon as possible to inform you of the delay and provide an estimated ship date.

What are your shipping options?

We ship using Purolator and Canada Post. If you prefer another carrier, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request.

Do you ship internationally?

We ship anywhere in Canada and the USA.

Can I track my order?

Yes. Once your order has shipped, we will send you an email with a tracking number so you can monitor your shipment online.

Can my shipping address be different from my billing address?

Yes. However, for security reasons, your billing address must match the address associated with your credit card.

Does The Tool Store offer customer charge accounts?

No, we do not offer charge accounts. All orders must be paid in full at the time of purchase.

When will my credit card be charged?

Your credit card will be charged immediately when your order is placed, including for items that are on backorder. We will contact you if the product has a lead time or delayed shipping date.

Do your prices include sales tax?

Sales tax is applied based on the shipping address:

  • We charge HST where applicable.

  • For provinces that do not use HST, we charge 5% GST.

What if there is a pricing or product error?

While we strive to ensure all pricing and product details are accurate, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct any inaccuracies and will notify you if any changes affect your order.

Can I order parts online?

No. Parts cannot be ordered online. Please call 1-888-768-8370 with the make and model number of your tool, and our staff will help you order the correct part.

How long does it take to receive my order?

In-stock items typically ship within 2-5 business days depending on your location. If an item is out of stock or requires additional processing time, we will notify you by email with the estimated delivery timeline.
