- There are two ways to see the security at work on this site. The first way to tell if a page is secured is in the address bar. As you will notice some pages start with the letters http:// - these are non secured pages that are only showing general information. Secured pages show https:// in the address bar; these pages are encrypted to provide the utmost in security. TheToolStore.ca uses secured pages on any page that requires you to enter sensitive personal information ensuring your information is secured. The second way to know if you are on a secured page is by looking at the top of your browser. Secured pages will show a lock, letting you know that the web page you are on is secure.
Is there any product that I cannot order online?
- Yes, parts are not ordered via the Internet. If you wish to order a part please call us directly at 1-888-768-8370 with your make and model number.
How will I know if something I ordered isn't in stock?
- Under the rare circumstance that we will not be able to fulfill your order or the product is on backorder you will be notified A.S.A.P by our staff.
Does your pricing include the shipping costs?
- Shipping is a flat rate on most items except where noted by small truck. For these items, once your order has been completed you will receive a quote within 24 hours for your approval. We will NOT ship without your approval.
How can I be sure that shopping on-line at this site is safe?

Does your pricing include the shipping costs?
- Shipping costs are NOT included in the prices. Once you fill out your shipping details at checkout, you'll see your shipping costs before ordering.
Does thetoolstore offer customer charge accounts?
- Unfortunately, thetoolstore does not offer charge accounts.
What about sales tax?
- The Tool Store is required to charge HST in the provinces that utilize HST. For provinces without HST, The Tool Store is required to charge the standard 5% GST on all orders.
What if there is a pricing error or misprint?
- We strive to ensure our pricing and product information is accurate and current, but occasional errors may occur. If an error is identified, we reserve the right to correct pricing, typographical, or printing mistakes promptly.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
- In stock items usually ship between 2 business days. If a product is out of stock, we will send you an email with the estimated delivery day.
What are my shipping options?
- The shipping options are displayed in the shipping portion at checkout. Currently thetoolstore ships with Purolator and Canada Post services. If this is unacceptable, we can ship by other carriers.
Can I track my order once it has been shipped?
- You can track your package online. Upon shipment, an e-mail with tracking information will be sent.
Can my "ship to" address be different than my "bill to" address?
- Yes, please note that for security reasons, your billing address must match on file with your credit card company.
Do You Ship Overseas?
- Unfortunately we do not at this time, but if you have an inquiry please get in touch via email or give us a call.
When Will My Credit Card Be Charged For My Order?
- All orders are processed and charged immediately to your credit card. Please note, some products are not in stock and require several weeks to ship.
