This tool rest gives you a larger support surface from the universal support. It's ideal for sharpening various rounded scrapers for woodturning. The SVD-110 Tool Rest also works perfectly with special woodcarving tools such as hollowing tools and curved drawing knives. You can also use it for card scrapers and cutting blades for woodturning tools, spokeshave and flat-head screwdrivers.
